For Dhangadhi, it was Bhandari’s day who picked up 4 crucial wickets on his way to procured the figure of (4-0-37-4). He sent back Aasif Sheikh, Aarif Shikh, Hari Sankhar Shah and Mehra in his quota of 4 overs. Sompal Kami and Samsad Sheikh too hold on with a wicket each.
In reply, Ashfaq Ahmed along with Sunil Dhamala came backed to bat for Dhangadhi. They passed initial phase and shared 47 runs from 51 balls. Ahmed departed off Mehra bowl in his personal score of 30 runs. He took 24 balls for it with 6 fours in his name. Rohan Mustafa batted well to score 39 runs from 30 balls with 3 sixes and a four. Then, Sonu Tamang smashed some shots to score quick fire 15 runs from 7 balls. He smashed a four and six to sealed 8 wickets victory for Dhangadhi with 12 balls to spare. Dhamala was solid throughout the inning with 46 runs from 47 balls with 3 fours and 2 sixes. For United, Mehra bowled beautifully and took a wicket to achieved applaudable figure of (4-0-22-1). Avinash Karn was another wicket holder, who sent back Mustafa.
Dhangadhi will face Biratnagar Kings where United will meet Rupandehi Challengers on 5th April.
