Denmark surpassed Jersey on rain effected match.
Denmark’s skipper Shah won the toss and opted to field first. Watkins and Stevens lead the Jersey’s batting card and propelled their total to 238 runs losing 6 wickets in 50 overs. Watkins scored 86 runs from 111 balls with the help of 8 fours and a six. His fellow, Stevens smashed 69 runs off 95 balls with 9 fours and 2 sixes. Bulow, Ahmed and Bashir Shah picked up 2 wickets each.
Denmark was in need of 239 runs in 300 balls but rain joined the party and interrupted the play for while. After departure of rain, match resumed and was shorten to 23 overs. Now with this victory, Denmark climb right on the top of points table with better net runrate than host Malaysia. Denmark will play against Malaysia and Jersey will face Bermuda.
