Oman and Uganda started their ICC World Cricket League Division III’s campaign with a massive wins. Oman surpassed Kenya whereas Uganda beat Denmark on inaugural day of the tournament.

Kenya’s skipper, Ngoche, won the toss and elected to bat first. Kaleemullah’s significant effort restricted Kenya on the below par total of 164 runs. He hunted 4 succumbs in his marathon spell of 10 overs. Patel topped the batting chart for Kenya with 36 runs in his tally. Skipper Maqsood led Oman’s chase with magnificent half century. His unbeaten 53 runs’ innings helped them to surpass the given task with 43 balls to spare. Opening batsman, Jatinder Singh also contributed handy 33 runs in Oman’s 5 wickets victory.

On other hand, Arnold Otwani’s 88 runs inspired Uganda to beat Denmark by 5 wickets. Denmark batted first and scored 165 runs which were chased easily by Uganda. Uganda found the target with 82 balls remaining. Uganda’s Waiswa picked up maximum 4 wickets. Uganda will face USA whereas Oman will play against Singapore tomorrow.
