Jersey’s captain Perchard called the coin’s side right and asked opposition to bat first. Jersey’s bowlers claimed all Vanuatu’s wickets within 36 overs and restricted them in very tiny total of 104 runs. Moving forward, huge margined victory in the very first match will help Jersey as positive net runrate will come handy in such tight tournament like this. Jersey will face Denmark tomorrow whereas Vanuatu will battle it out against host Malaysia.
