Jason Roy daddy hundred and Joe Root composed half-century helped England to beat Australia by 5 wickets, to started the 5 matches series on a winning note. Roy and Root 221 runs stand for 2nd wickets ensured the England’s victory. Jason Roy scored 180 runs off 151 deliveries. His 4th ODI ton included 16 fours and 5 sixes. It is his best ODI score so far. His partner, Joe root also played splendid innings and scored unbeaten 91 runs in 110 balls to chased down the target of 305 runs set by Australia. For England, Liam Plunket and Adil Rashid picked up 3 and 2 wickets respectively.

England will move on to Brisbane with 1-0 lead in 5 match ODI series.
