Australian Government announced to develop sporting ties with various Asian countries through a new program that includes various sporting activates such as Cricket, Badminton, Football etc.
A new program known as Asian Sports Development Partnership (ASP) will expand its support in various Asian nation including Nepal, Afghanistan, and China.
Through Asian cricket partnerships program, Cricket Australia will support in various sectors such as in health, gender equality and organizational linkages in Nepal, Afghanistan, and China. Initial grant planned for these projects is AUD 200, 000. (~16.17 million Nepalese rupees) in each of these nations and also other sporting bodies such as Badminton Australia and Netball Australia will support Nepal with AUD 200,000 each respectively
