Skipper Hamid Shah all round performance helped his side to remain unbeaten in the tourney, beating Malaysia by 33 runs.

Denmark won the toss and elected to bat first. Zameer Khan Klokker opened the inning for Denmark. Their partnership last for 17 runs as Klokker went back to pavillion in 5th over of the inning. But his fellow, Khan stayed there for 72 more balls and added 44 runs. Likewise, Shah’s 37, Henriksen’s 32 propelled Denmark’s total to 179 runs, losing all wickets inside 49th over. Muhammad Wafiq and Pavandeep Singh picked up 3 wickets each whereas Suharril Fetri and Syed Aziz also chipped in with a wicket each.

In reply Malaysia found themselves 33 runs short of target. Muhamad Syahadat topped their batting chart with 29 runs in his account. Suhan Alagaratnam (26) and Suharril Fetri (24) were other notable perfomer with the bat for Malaysia. On the way to restrict Malaysia on the total of 146 runs, Bashir Shah bagged maximum 3 wickets for Denmark. Ahmad, laegsgaard and Shah also managed to hold on with 2 wickets each.

With this Denmark remain unbeaten and stay on the top of points table, Where Malaysia slipped down to third spot.
