Sandy to fly for Australia

Nepal’s iconic Sandeep Lamichhane to fly for Australia today to take part in 8th edition of Big Bash League which will commence from December 17. He will fly through Silk Air on 9:55 (NST).

Sandeeep Lamichhane will play for Melbourne Stars for this edition of Big Bash League(BBL). He became first Nepalese player to be picked for BBL when Melbourne Stars purchased him last month. Lamichhane will play in Australia till first week of January and will fly to Bangladesh to play Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), representing Sylhet Sixers. After completing his  tenure in Bangladesh, he will again fly back to Australia for BBL.

Lamichhane had played two-match for Lalitpur Patriots in on-going Everest Premier League (EPL) at TU Ground. He picked 5 wickets in his two-match with wickets today against Chitwan Tigers and 2 against Biratnagar Warriors.
