Purbanchal Cricket Academy all set to organize Birat Cricket Cup 2018.
Nepal is progressing very rapidly in cricket. In the absence of cricket board private sectors stepping up and leaving their notch for Nepal’s cricket. Nepal recently claimed ODI status for the first time in the history. Everyone was complaining about the rarity of 50-over format league and multi day league. Government mayn’t care but public sectors do.
With the presumption to develop the cricketing activities of Eastern Development Region, well recognized academy “Purbanchal Cricket Academy” announced 50 over format franchised based cricket league to be held in Biratnagar from May 3. 20 days long tournament will take place on Police Training Center Ground Biratnagar. 8 city based franchise will fight out for the trophy in the first edition.
This league will surely set benchmark for cricket in eastern development region.
