Ball tempering saga hits Smith and Warner for 12-month suspension


Steve Smith and David Warner handed a year banned for ball tempering saga.

Cameron Bancroft, meanwhile, has been hit with a nine month ban after an investigation into who was involved in the process that led to Bancroft attempting to alter the condition of the ball with sticky yellow tape during the third Test against South Africa concluded that the premeditated plan was limited to just three players. However, many were guessing the involvement of coaching staff in the issue, but investigation concluded that no any member from coaching staff were awared of that shameful incident. The most important assets of current Australian side, Steve Smith, an David warner will be again available for selection for ICC World Cup 2019 which is to be held in England&Wales. Three of them are due to fly back to Australia today as Smith had already banned for a test match by ICC. Recently released conference from Cricket Australia suggested that Joe Burns, Matt Renshaw and Glenn Maxwell will replace them for the fourth and final Test of the series. While Tim Paine has been announced as Australia’s test captain. 

This shameful incident hit David Warner and Steve Smith very hard. David Warner stepped down as Sunriser Hyderabad captain where his deputy Smith decided to quit IPl contract considering security issue.
