Rain spoiled Nepal’s second warm up match

Today’s scheduled warm up match between Nepal and Hong Kong has been officially called off due to rain.

The second warm of match of Nepal and Hong Kong has been called off due to wet outfield and rain. The match was scheduled to be start by 1:15pm (NST). The overnight rain resulted a wet outfield. Umpires waited three hours before confirming 30 overs per side match but rain joined the party immediately. Hence, match has been abandoned with a ball being bowled, in fact before toss take place. It’s second consecutive time, that the match between Nepal and Hong Kong has been abandoned with a ball being bowled. 
Main draw of ICC World Cup Qualifier will commence from March 04, where both Nepal and Hong Kong will take part through Group ‘B’. Nepal will face host Zimbabwe on opening day itself where Hong Kong will play against Scotland on March 06.
