Nepal announced their final 14-man squad for the ICC World Cricket League (WCL) Division II.
Selection committee which includes Nepal’s head coach Jagat Tamata, skipper Paras Khadka and ICC representative person, Animul Islam had revealed Nepal’s final squad for the most awaited tournament, ICC WCL Division II. Rohit Kumar Paudel who suddenly came out in limelight through his performance on recently concluded TVS Everest Premier League has made it to National team squad for the first time. Likewise, another skillful player, Anil Kumar Sah, who showed his ability to cope under pressure during TVS EPL has also included on the side. He was with the team in Nepal’s ICC World Cricket League final round against UAE. Lalit Bhandari also got uninterrupted in the side. His left-arm medium pace will become handy for Nepal in Namibian condition.

ICC WCL Division II will start from February 8. Nepal will play their first game against host Namibia on Opening Day. They will face Oman on February 9 followed by against UAE on February 11, and against Kenya and Canada on February 12 and 14 respectively. Six teams will take part in this tournament. Top two sides will make their spot in ICC World Cup Qualifier which will be held on Early March in Zimbabwe.
