NCSS organized honoured programme | dedicating work paid off

Nepali Cricket Supporter Society (NCSS) on January 22 praised the Nepal’s blind cricket team with cash. NCSS had honoured them with the cash that they collected in 15-days long campaign. The team had travelled back to Nepal after participating in their maiden ODI World Cup held in Pakistan and UAE. NCSS had raised the fund after knowing the miserable incident. Team had to travelled 4 days through bus and train to participate in World Cup due to financial problem. NCSS fund raising campaign had collected  Rs. 787,129 through different individual. Rs. 329,000 cash were expensed for flight tickets from UAE. Remaining amount were distributed to the Nepal’s blind cricket team as a appreciation for their inspirational step. Rs. 22,000 were distributed to every 14 players whereas 11,000 were distributed to 8 team officials. NCSS had hand overed Rs. 50000 to Blind Cricket Association of Nepal.  NCSS had organized the honoured programme yesterday on TU Int’l Cricket Ground. Nepal’s national cricket team head coach, Jagat Tamata, captain, Paras Khadka and NCSS president, Bhanu Sigdel had honoured the team.

Team had played five matches in 6 team participating tournament where they managed to pulled off victory against Australia.
