Nary Thapa went into the record-book and helped Nepal to hammer Hong Kong by four-wicket in their fourth match of ICC Women’s Twenty20 World Cup Qualifier Asia in Bangkok.
Hong Kong batted first and added 62-8 in 20 overs after Nary broke their middle-order. Nepal then, took 18.3 overs to chase it down losing 6 wickets.
Nary picked 6 wickets giving away just 8 runs in her four over. Sita Rana Magar chipped in with two wickets to her name.
Marina Lamplough scored maximum 19 runs for Hong Kong.
Apsari Begam scored 24 runs from 35 balls for Nepal with three fours while Sarita Magar scored unbeaten 16 runs.
Jasmine Titmuss picked maximum three wickets for Hong Kong.
