Bhairahawa Gladiators signed one of best associate player of the cricketing history, Ryan ten Doeschate for third edition of Everest Premier League (EPL).

TVS EPL 2018 will commence on 8th December with 6 teams battling out for 15 days. Biratnagar Warriors, Bhairahawa Gladiators, Lalitpur Patriots, Pokhara Rhinos, Chitwan Tigers, and Kathmandu Kings XI will take on the field with a common goal of sealing the title. Every matches will take place on TU Int’l Cricket Ground with live telecast on AP1 HD.

Every teams must include 3 foreign players in the squad. Every franchises are flashing out big-big names for this edition of tournament. Today Bhairahawa Gladiators added one more big name in that list with confirmation of Ryan ten Doeschate to play nearly coming edition of Everest Premier League. 38-years-old, Doeschate is considered as one of the best player of associate cricket. Dutch star has already won the ICC’s award of best associate player three times in 2008, 2010 and 2011 respectively. He has represented Netherlands in 33 ODI matches with record-holding 66.00’s average. He has 1,541 ODI runs with 5 centuries and 9 half-centuries in his tally. Veteran all-rounder, Doeschate, also has 55 ODI wickets. He has excellent average of 42 in T20 International matches with a half century and 12 wickets in his tally. He also averages 47 in First-Class matches with 10,283 runs including 27 centuries in 174 appearance. He too has registered 212 First-Class wickets with 173 wickets and 5,826 runs in List-A cricket. He was with Netherlands Cricket Team in ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 where he scored two centuries, one against England and another against Ireland. He was with one of the most successful Indian Premier League’s side, Kolkata Knight Riders, for 4 years in-between 2011 and 2015. Gladiators also signed up recently concluded Pokhara Premier League’s highest run scorer, Ravi Inder Singh, as their third overseas players. He scored 260 runs (6 innings) in his last outing of Nepal. Earlier, Gladiators already announced UAE’s pace-bowling spearhead, Mohammad Naveed as their foreign player.
