Chasing the decent target of 155 runs against Denmark, Oman reached there with 16 balls to spare, losing 7 wickets. Oman’s Jatinder Singh made significant 73 runs and guided his team to victory. Bashir Shah and Ahmad picked up equal 2 wickets for Denmark. Earlier, Bilal Khan and Jay Odedra did lots of hard-work to restrict Denmark on chase able total. They picked up 3 wickets each and made it easy for their batsman.
In another match of the day, Kenya broker their 15 matches losing streak in 50-overs cricket. Irfan Karim and Nelson Odhiambo’s unbeaten 107 runs stand for 5th wicket did it for Kenya. Karim smashed maximum 59 runs whereas Odhiambo added 53 runs. Earlier, Bhudia and Ngoche grabbed maximum 2 wickets each for Kenya. Electing to bat first, Uganda summed up first innings with 177 runs as Nakrani led the charge with 50 runs off 71 balls. Kenya jumped a step up in 5th spot on points table with this 6 wickets’ win.
