Unbeaten Singapore outplayed hopeless Bhutan. They registered 97 runs victory against Bhutan.
Singapore continued their suplime form in ICC World Twenty Asia Regional Qualifier ‘B’. They thrashed Bhutan as their fifth victim.
Bhutan’s skipper, Suryawanshi, won the toss and elected to field first. Bhutan managed to restrict Singapore for 161 runs taking 9 wickets. The openers of Singapore, Chandramohan (80) and Dutta (35) added 73 runs for first wicket. Singye took the highest wicket for Bhutan as he grabbed 4 wickets.
Chasing 167 runs, Bhutan only managed to get 61 runs. Dorji, Gurung and Jamtsho crossed the double digits runs as 14, 15 and 18 runs respectively. Manpreet guided Singapore to easy win as he grabbed 4 wickets.
