Biratnagar Warriors won two matches on trot to top the league table. Biratnagar Warriors pulled out the thriller against Pokhara Rhinos to register their second victory of the tournament. Winning the toss, Warriors elected to bowl first on the damp morning condition today. Rhinos opener duo Israrullah and Dhamala started off their inning with aggressive mentality and played with the run rate of 8 run per over in first three over but Paras Khadka came as a warrior for Warriors and send back Israrullah back in the pavilion after then Rhinos kept on losing wicket in quick succession hence they just succeed to post the total of 122 runs in respective 20 overs of play. Rajesh Pulami top their scorecard with 30 runs whereas Israrullah made 21 runs. For Warriors, Paras Khadka picked up three wickets. Naresh Giri, Basant Regmi and Avinash Karn also succeed to chipped in with a wicket each.
In reply, Rhinos started off their bowling on a ideal way and take in the match till the last over. Sushan Bhari send back Aasif Sheikh and Basant Regmi in same over to turn on match for Rhinos. But at the end Warriors win the match by 3 wickets with the matured 60 runs off 61 runs from Anshuman Rath with the help of six fours and two sixes. For Rhinos, Israrullah and Sushan Bhari took two two wicket each where Sunil Dhamala and Shakti Gauchan too succeed to pulled off a wicket each.
Kathmandu King XI and Bhairawa Gladitiors will play in the second match of today’s double-header.
