Nepalese Shane Warne “Sandeep Lamichanne” has got a great opportunity to share the same jersey and dressing room with Australian Legend and former Captain Michael Clarke and of former Western Australia Wicket-keeper Ryan Campbell in Hong Kong T20 Blitz with Kowloon Cantons.

 

Clarke has signed with Kowloon Cantons for the two-day Hong Kong T20 Blitz tournament.  “I am really excited to be playing with the Kowloon Cantons in the upcoming T20 tournament,” Clarke told News Limited. “I can’t wait to meet my teammates and experience the city, while also hopefully contributing to the game of cricket in Hong Kong which I know has been coming on leaps and bounds in recent years.”

According to Hong Kong cricket Association “Clarke will train with his new teammates on the Friday before the Cantons opening game against the Hung Hom JD Jaguars on May 28.”

According to HKCA CEO Tim Cutler “Clarke will be a major coup for the sport in Hong Kong”

On being a part of Kowloon Cantons   Sandeep has said “I feel incredibly proud to join the Kowloon Cantons, for this incredible event.”

The tournament will be played from the 27th to 29th of May at Tin Kwong Rd Recreation Ground.
