Rajasthan Royals (RR) registered back to back win in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 as they beat Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in high scoring context on Sunday (last night)

Royals invited Kings XI to bat first in batting friendly Sharjah Cricket Stadium. KXIP responded with 223-2 on board in 20 overs after Mayank Agrawal (106) and Lokesh Rahul (69) put up an excellent 183-run opening stand.

After losing Jos Buttler (04) early in their innings, Sanju Samson (85) And Steve Smith, (50) shared a 40-ball 81 partnership and laid a strong foundation for the most successful run chase in the IPL history.

There’s no big difference between Kings XI’s scoring rate between 1-16 overs (11.12) and 16-20 overs (11.25). Looking at the start, they failed 15-20 runs short which hurt them later on in the second innings.
