Nepal rode on Sita’s all-round performance to beat China

Sita Rana Magar peformed both with the bat and ball as Nepal inched China by five runs to register their fourth wins of ICC Women’s Twenty20 World Cup Asian regional Qualifier on Monday.

Nepal posted 77-9 in 20 overs after put in to bat first. Sita’s discliplined bowling display restricted China on 72-6 in 20 overs.

Kajal Shrestha and Sita scored 18 and 11 runs respectively for Nepal whereas Wang Meng and Han Lili picked two wickets each for China.

Sita returned and picked three wickets for Nepal giving away just 19 runs in her four overs. Kabita Kunwar chipped in with a wicket.

Zhang Mei scored maximum 33 runs while Zhou added 18 runs for losing side.
