Oman continued to impress whereas USA started it with a win in ICC World Cricket League Division III.

USA’s opener, Monank Patel, scored impressive century after being asked to bat first by Uganda’s skipper, Mukasa. He smashed 8 fours and a six in his 107 runs’ innings. His impressive innings was well supported by Walsh (47) to propel USA’s total to 252 runs in inscribed 50 overs. Ssenyondo took maximum 2 wickets for Uganda. USA’s Patel bowled exceptionally well to destroy Uganda’s middle-order. He dismissed Kayondo, Irfan, and Nakrani in quick succession to make it easy for USA. In the end, Uganda remained 54 runs behind the task. Otwani (52) registered yet another half-century for Uganda with 7 fours and a six. Monank Patel, who smashed match defining century, was named as player of the match.

In another encounter, Oman’s captain, Maqsood and opener, Jatinder Singh stepped up to chase 186 runs’ target easily. Player of the match, Maqsood, scored unbeaten 43 runs with 7 fours in Oman’s 4 wickets victory. Singh also contributed well composed 41 runs as Oman reached there with 74 balls on hand. Janak Prakash took maximum 3 wickets for Singapore. Earlier, Oman elected to field first and restricted Singapore on the ordinary total of 185 runs. Bilal Khan registered 3 wickets whereas Maqsood chipped in with 2 wickets.

USA is scheduled to face Kenya on Monday (Nov 12). Singapore will face Denmark on same fixture.
