12 players have been selected for Dhangadhi Premier League through recently concluded Talent Hunt programme.
Dhangadhi Cricket Association along with the presence of national level coach, Jung Bahadur Thapa, has opted 12 players out of over 100 players participating talent-hunt programme. 1 Strategic player, 11 players through auction, two overseas players along with at least 1 player selected through talent hunt should be chosen in every teams squad. Hence, at least 6 prospective players will get exposure as well as financial reward to improve their game. They are categorized as Grade ‘D’ and will get minimum Rs 25000 which can increased up to Rs 40000. As its Dhangadhi base premier league so only Far-Western Development Region residential players were eligible to intake talent-hunt service. “Can’t go into details right now but Subodh Air is an exceptional batting talent, Thagunna is skillful pace bowler, Lokesh Bam is also a known name in Dhangadhi.”, Rajan Shah, Creative Director of DPL has tweeted on his one of followers inquiry about DPL’s talent hunt.
