Former Mumbai Ranji player, coach of Vidarbha, Sulakshan Kulkarni has been appointed as a batting coach of Nepal for ICC World Cricket League Division II which is scheduled to be held in Namibia on February this year.
51 years old guy from Karnataka, India was a wicket-keeper batsman in his playing time. He has an average of 38.29 in First-Class cricket followed by 21 in List-A cricket. He has 6 centuries in First-Class cricket with 239 as his best score. He turns as a coach after his retirement. He has started his coaching career with Mumbai U-19s followed by Vidarbha, Central Zone cricket team and Mumbai cricket team. He had a very successful tenure with Mumbai cricket team as Mumbai succeed to conquer 2012–13 Ranji Trophy title under his coaching. He was sacked from his position after team’s quarterfinal exit in 2013/14. Now he will serve Nepal cricket team as a batting coach for their Division II campaign.
