Sandeep Lamichhane’s excellent bowling led Kerala Knights to win (by 8 wickets) against Shahid Afridi’s Pakhtoons in on-going UAE T10X.
Winning the toss, Knights’ skipper, Eoin Morgan, invited Pakhtoons to bat first. Lamichhane retained mouth-watering figure to restrict Pakhtoons’ on the decent total of total of 109 runs on allocated 10 overs. He picked up 3 wickets, expensing 17 runs, in his full bowling spell of 2 overs. He sent back Andre Fletcher (32) and Colin Ingram (01) in his first one. He returned back and victimised Muhammad Kaleem (00) in his second over. In reply, Eoin Morgan led the charge with unbeaten 20 balls- 46 runs to win it for Knights with 13 balls to spare. He smashed 2 fours and 5 sixes in his match winning innings. Paul Stirling also contributed very handy 40 runs from 14 deliveries. Sohail Khan and Liam Dawson bagged a wicket each for Pakhtoons.
Lamichhane was adjudged as man of the match for his significance bowling spell.
