ICC World Cricket League Division III : Oman continued their dominance

Oman remains unbeaten and secured the top position of ICC World Cricket League Division III’s points table. Denmark got the victory by virtue of their excellent batting against Kenya.

Oman registered convenience victory against Uganda. Uganda decided to bat first and Oman succeeded to restrict Uganda on 59 runs. Bilal Khan took maximum 4 wickets for Oman. Chasing 59 runs, Oman reached there with ease inside 18 overs overs without losing any wickets. Openers, Singh and Bhandari scored unbeaten 36 and 22 runs respectively. With this win, Oman made it 5 in 5 in on-going World Cricket League.

Talking about another match, Denmark defeated Kenya by 9 wickets. Denmark asked Kenya to bat first and Kenya added 216 runs in 49 overs losing all wickets. Openers, Patel(29) and Obanda(59) added 46 runs for the first wicket. Karim(64) and SR Bhudia(33) controlled the middle overs and propelled the first innings total to 216 runs. Ahmed took maximum 4 wickets for Denmark.
Denmark chased it down with a classy batting performance and registered 9 wickets win. After early departure of Bharaj (09), Shah(105) and Kloker(80) played exceptional innings and finished it up with 27 balls to spare. Oluoch picked a lone wicket for Kenya.

Tomorrow’s very crucial clash between USA and Singapore will decide the final standing of the tournament, with Oman already owning that number 1 spot.
