Last match of T20 Triangular series between Nepal and Netherlands has been called off due to rain.
Nepal and Netherlands Twenty20 international match in lord’s has been called off due to heavy rain. The T20 Triangular series in Lord’s between Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), Nepal and Netherlands was announced around 2 months ago. It’s dream to play in lord’s (largely known as home of cricket) especially for associate nation. So after the announcement of T20 Triangular series in lord’s, all Nepal’s and Netherlands fans were celebrating and marked the date in calendar as most awaited day. Over 2500 Nepalese fan (As per PeterDellaPenna) were presented in the ground and around 14,000 viewers on live streaming. But all the curiosity and eagerness of fans has been spoiled by rain which interrupt the play throughout the day. Due to heavy rain in the morning and early afternoon, first two match was minimized to 6 overs per side. During 17th over, rain joined the party for second time during Nepal vs Netherlands much anticipated clash. It was heavy and considering the playing condition and wet outfield, umpires called off the play.
