Lalitpur Patriots won the match against Kathamandu Kinga XI by 7 wickets. Winning the toss, Patriots elected to bowl first and showed excellent disciplinary bowling. Subodh and Lalit’s duo destroyed the backbone of Kings XI with 7 wickets in pair. Subodh Bhati picked up 4 wickets where Lalit Rajbanshi picked up 3 wickets. For KKXI, non other than Amit Shrestha looked positive. Amit Shrestha hung on one end for while and scored 27 run to uplift the team score up to 89. Akshu Fernando and Sompal Kami also scored 15 and 14 runs respectively.
In reply, Lalitpur chased down the total with ease. It wasn’t too tough task for them as their bowlers had already made it too easy for them. JayKishan Kolsawala and Rajbir Singh batting make it more easy for Patriots. Kolsawala and Rajbir scored 44 and 14 runs respectively.
Gyanendra Malla also scored 20 runs to helped him team to sealed a victory. For KKXI non other than than Akshu Fernando and Sompal kami succeed to take wicket. Akshu took two wickets whereas Sompal chipped in with a wicket. Lalit Rajbanshi was declared as player of the match for his outstanding bowling and fielding performance.
Pokhara Rhinos will take on Chitwan Tigers on the first match of tomorrow double-header. Lalitpur Patriots will take on the challenge of Biratnagar Warriors on the second match.
