Royal Challengers Bangalore(RCB) failed to keep their winning momentum which they have got in their 1st victory over a decent Sunrisers Hyderabad side in their 1st encounter in this year IPL.
Apart from winning the toss nothing went good for the Super V, Virat Kohli. His twin dropped catch became the highlight of the 1st innings while his fellow competitor, KL Rahul had the best day in the office. Rahul led from the front and carried his bat for the innings with a blistering 132* that helped his team to gain a total of over 200 to make life more difficult for Virat and Co.
Mohammad Shami and Shelden Cottrell stuck to their superb line and length and got better of the formidable batting line up of RCB in a very good pitch. Later on, Ravi Bishnoi and Murugan Ashwin paved Punjab’s way towards wicket with a flurry of wickets against a tactically weak RCB side in a particular moment of the game.
Here’s what our Turnaround board speaks about this wonderful cricket match. A match where strong players in papers got beaten by players with skills and implementation of tactics in the ground.
