Sharad Vesawkar to miss Dhangadhi Premier League due to personal commitments.
Dhangadhi Premier League will commence from 31st March in SSP cricket ground, Dhangadhi. The tournament will consist of six city-based franchise team. Every teams need to assign a player each before the auction. Likewise, every teams must include two foreign players in their side. Every team needs to include a player each through talent-hunt from Far-Western Development Region. A selected strategic player, two foreign players, a player through talent-hunt and 11 players from auction will finalize the final 15 squad of every team. It will be the most cash-rich domestic league in Nepal’s sporting history as Winner will get Rs. 2500000 where first runner-up will be awarded with Rs. 1000000 followed by Rs. 300000 and Rs. 200000 to third and fourth respectively. Man of the series of the tournament will be awarded with TVS Apache 180 CC motorcycle where man of the match of every match will get Rs. 10000.
Tournament has everything that the spectators have desired at the moment expect the presence of most successful captain at domestic level,
Sharad Vesawkar. He is well known for his ability to use youngsters. He has succeeded to take his team to the finals on all four occasions where he succeeds to lift the title twice. He will not be the part of this edition of DPL due to a personal issue.
He had successfully led his so-called under-dog team, Gladiators, in the final of TVS EPL 2017.
